Join the Real Time (RT) oceanography data exchange pilot by using SWE

Sensor Web Enablement (SWE) can be applied for real time monitoring systems, allowing direct standardised access to selected data types from selected monitoring instruments (sensors). The OGC SWE standards aim to support operators, researchers and data owners in streaming and publishing marine observation data collected with sensors at platforms.

The SWE pilot has been developed in a cooperation between EMODnet Physics and EMODnet Ingestion. The EMODnet Real Time Oceanographic Data Client gives discovery and access to the data streams from a number of Sensor Observation Service (SOS) instances.
