Progress presented at EMODnet Steering Committee

The progress of the EMODnet Ingestion project has been presented at the meeting of the EMODnet Steering Committee in Brussels - Belgium, 16th February 2017. During the meeting also the promotion and marketing of the Ingestion initiative have been discussed and it was decided that all EMODnet Thematic portals will advertise the EMODnet Ingestion portal with an invitation to their users to contribute data sets to EMODnet. Also it was agreed in principle to engage the data centres of each of the Thematic networks in the further processing and archiving of received data submissions.
