Dataset identification

Title of datasetAirgun SEISMIC PROFILE IN THE SINKING AREA OF THE PRESTIGE OIL TANKE-RG49TR
Narrative summary of dataset Seismic profile obtained with 4 Sleeve Gun canyons (3 Bolt model 1900LL and 1 Bolt model 1500LL), operating at 140 bars (2000 psi), and 40 channel, 150 m long streamer. This data has served to provide information about the morphology, stratigraphy, sedimentology, tectonics in the Galicia Bank Region, particularly its SW flank, in order to define the geohazards at the location of the Prestige wreck.
Summary of processing methodologyThe seismic data was processed in a standard way, according to the following steps: editing of traces; establishment of geometry; binning with a CMP spacing of 10 m; application of static corrections; analysis of velocity; bandpass filtering; normal moveout correction; stacking; and F-D time migration
