Dataset identification

Title of datasetFaults in the central Alboran Sea
Narrative summary of datasetFaults related to the tectonic indentation along the Eurasian-African plate boundary in the central Alboran Sea
Summary of processing methodologyThe bathymetry of the central Alboran Sea, compiled with different sources including multibeam cruises (Ercilla et al., 2016-Marine Geology, 378, 157-170), presents an accurate resolution revealing the main morphological features of the sea bottom.. A database of seismic profiles with standard processing, served to map the main tectonic features. They practically cover the whole region, albeit with variable resolution. In addition, parametric sub-bottom profiles indicate the uppermost structural and sedimentary features.
