Narrative summary of datasetMagnetic data were obtained during the INCRISIS cruise to address the recent and active near-surface tectonic deformations related to the 2016–2017 seismic sequence within the greater context of the 1993–1994 and 2004 sequences in the central Alboran Sea. This study provided insights into the propagation of recent fault zones and how they are linked to seafloor deformations in addition to their relationships with the former Al Idrisi Fault.
